On the requirements to become a Cabin Crew
What is the minimum and maximum age required to become a Cabin Crew?
To start Crew Factory training you can register at the age of 17, but you will need to be 18 years old to sit the official exam. There is no maximum age limit, although some airlines may set their own selection criteria.
What is the minimum height to work as a Cabin Crew?
It depends on the airline, but in Europe the usual requirements are:
- Women: Between 1.57m and 1.65m.
- Men: Between 1.68 m and 1.75 m.

Do I need to know how to swim to be a Cabin Crew?
Yes, it is compulsory to demonstrate that you can swim unaided, as emergency in-water simulations are included in the training. During the course at Crew Factory you will practice these procedures to ensure you meet the requirement.
Is it compulsory to speak English to become a Cabin Crew?
Yes, English is a must to work for most airlines. You do not need an advanced level to start training, but you will need to reach at least an intermediate level (B1) before applying to international airlines.
Can I be a Cabin Crew if I have tattoos or piercings?
It depends on the airline, but in general tattoos and piercings visible in uniform are not allowed. If you have them in areas that you can easily cover, you should be fine.

In Crew Factory we offer a course approved by AESA to obtain the certification of Flight Attendant (Flight Attendant). Flight attendant salaries vary depending on the airline and seniority, but on average a flight attendant can earn between €1,800 and €2,500 per month.
